Key Outputs
- Creative planning and designing of itineraries
- Managing the reservations process for bookings in a manner that ensures the guest budget is achieved
- Handling bookings from quote to finalising, invoicing, and issuing travel documents
- Consistent and clear communication with agents, sales teams, preferred supplier partners, and colleagues
- Emergency duty on a rotational basis as per the DMC Emergency BOP
- Early and late shift work on a weekly rotational basis
- Calm and professional servicing of agents and guests
- Proactive selling of products and services to ensure the best possible safari experience for guests
- Independent, curious, and solution-oriented approach
- Upholding company values: Care of the People, Care of the Land, and Care of the Wildlife
Knowledge Required
- Passion for delivering service excellence
- In-depth knowledge of Tourplan advantageous
- Good knowledge of South Africa, Southern Africa, and East Africa preferable
- Willingness and aptitude to learn

- Strong understanding of terms and conditions, product knowledge, third-party products, and company destinations
- Understanding of travel industry channels
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of the different markets in which the company operates
