Job Summary
We’re recruiting for an Electrical Draughtsperson on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading player in the engineering and energy sector. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects, including critical Eskom initiatives.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using MicroStation.
- Interpret project specifications and Eskom standards to deliver compliant designs.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project goals.
- Update and maintain electrical documentation, ensuring accuracy and version control.
- Conduct site visits as required to gather information and ensure designs align with field conditions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsperson, preferably within the energy or utilities sector.
- Proficiency in MicroStation is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Eskom standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Relevant technical qualification in electrical design or drafting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
