Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full finance function, ensuring accuracy and compliance across reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Lead month-end, year-end and audit processes
  • Analyse financial performance, identify variances and provide strategic recommendations
  • Manage cash flow, working capital and cost-control initiatives
  • Develop, mentor and guide the finance team
  • Partner with operations and senior management to drive financial efficiency and support business growth
  • Ensure internal controls, governance standards and financial policies are effectively implemented
  • Support strategic projects, capex evaluations and business improvements
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Fully qualified CA(SA) or CGMA
    • 2+ years’ post-articles experience (preferably in manufacturing, FMCG or a similarly fast-paced industry)
    • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and taxation
    • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel
    • Experience managing small to medium finance teams
    • Strong cost and management accounting exposure will be advantageous
