• 3+ years’ experience in grain trading, agri-commodity brokering, or procurement.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of maize, soya, wheat, and/or other grain markets.
• Computer literacy (Excel, trading platforms, ERP systems).
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Source grain from local producers and cooperatives.
• Negotiate and execute sales with buyers, including millers, feedlots, and exporters.
• Monitor and interpret grain market trends, pricing, and logistics.
• Manage trading positions, risk exposure, and deal margins.
• Maintain accurate trade documentation and records.
• Collaborate with logistics and finance teams to ensure contract fulfilment.
• Build and grow a network of suppliers and clients across Southern Africa.
