Gauteng: Group Accountant: Strategic Finance posted by Network Finance

? About the Role

This is a pivotal role in a growing group of companies within the heavy machinery and construction space. You’ll work closely with the Financial Director and senior leadership to ensure accurate group-level reporting, compliance, and financial planning.

? Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at group level
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
• Support strategic initiatives, including CAPEX and investment planning
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders

? Qualifications & Experience

• Education: CA(SA) or BCom Honours with strong consolidation experience
• Experience: 5+ years in a group or senior accounting role
• Skills:
  • Strong IFRS and consolidation knowledge
  • Advanced Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and entities

• Hybrid work model
• Occasional travel to group sites
