Job Summary
The successful incumbent must possess at least three (3) years’ experience within a Human Resources role
Formal qualifications
- A relevant Human Resources Management qualification
- Proven experience with payroll systems will be an added advantage
- Valid driving license code 08, and own transport
Responsibilities
- Provide overall HR support
- Ensure Legislative compliance to all relevant employment and labour legislation
- Guide and support line managers with HR practices and processes
- Implementation of HR initiatives and projects into the business as and when required
- Complete all daily requirements as well as any other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by management to meet the objectives of the business
- Day-to-day administrative duties within the HR department
- Assist and guide managers on implementing and interpreting company Policies and Procedures
- Manage Leave applications and balances
- Monitor staff performance
- Signing of all employment contracts and related employment documentation
- Generating all official internal human resources related documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and warnings
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Maintaining employee files as well as their documents, benefits and attendance records
- Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and initiating activities
- Evaluating employee performance
- Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances in collaboration with the labour consultants
