Job Description
This role is ideal for someone who can combine technical product knowledge with strong analytical skills and system proficiency to enhance efficiency and accuracy across all inventory processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring optimal stock and inventory control throughout the organization, contributing directly to operational excellence and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze stock levels across all organizational locations.
- Track, report, and provide insights on stock movements, levels, and trends.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in SAGE Evolution, ensuring product details are updated regularly.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data to produce comprehensive reports that support managerial decision-making.
- Safeguard data integrity in all stock-related transactions.
- Develop a strong technical understanding of the company’s diverse product range.
- Support product-related queries and assist with full lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve stock issues and enhance processes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to optimize inventory.
- Show initiative, problem-solving ability, and enthusiasm in daily operations.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Inventory Specialist or in a similar role.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferable).
- Proficiency in SAGE Evolution or a similar ERP system for inventory control.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand industrial products.
- Excellent communication skills, with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
