Job Description
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or Technical Support role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and software applications.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (advantageous).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications.
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security protocols.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Provide first- and second-line support to end users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Create and maintain user guides and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system enhancements.
- Implement IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Assess business IT needs and recommend efficient technology solutions.
- Source and place orders for hardware and software.
- Maintain filing and administrative records related to IT assets.
- Update and manage web hosting accounts and related services.
