Our client located in Lynwood, Pretoria is currently looking for a sharp, proactive Junior Accountant to join their dynamic team.

Requirements: 

• Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Fluent in English and intermediate in Afrikaans
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Working knowledge of South African tax regulations and SARS processes
• Experience with cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Drivers License + Own Transport 
• Strong understanding of payroll systems and statutory requirements
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and compile financial statements with accuracy and insight
• Manage payroll processes across diverse client portfolios
• Navigate SARS systems for submissions, queries, and compliance
• Support tax computations and submissions with intermediate-level knowledge
• Work within cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
• Collaborate with senior accountants and consultants to streamline client workflows

Remuneration: 
R18K-R22K per month (negotiable based on experience)  + Petrol Allowance + Commission
