• Matric plus some Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Video Production, Photography or Film
• Proven experience as a photographer and content creator (minimum of 1 -2 years) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom etc.)
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and photo editing techniques
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube etc.) and an understanding of their trends and content requirements
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and website management (e.g. uploading products, managing product listings etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creativity, resourcefulness, and attention to detail

 
DUTIES

• Capture high-quality, on-brand photographs for use on social media, websites, marketing materials and more
• Edit and retouch photos, ensuring the content is polished and aligns with our brand identity.
• Assist with creating basic video content for social media (e.g. Short-term videos, stories, reels.)
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content that engages and resonates with our audience
• Assist with the website by uploading new products, ensuring images and product information are accurate and up to date
• Create and manage a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Stay up to date with current trends in photography, content creation, and e-commerce. Assist in brainstorming and conceptualizing new content ideas for campaigns and brand initiatives
• Maintain equipment and manage photo/video storage, ensuring everything is organised and easily accessible.
