About the Role
Join National Brands Limited (NBL) as a Labour Controller and be part of a legacy that has shaped South Africa’s biscuit tradition for over 170 years. With two iconic factories in Isando and Westmead, we produce beloved brands like Bakers Tennis®, Blue Label Marie®, and Choice Assorted®; creating moments of joy for generations of South Africans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manpower planning and scheduling to align with production demands and cost targets.
- Manage BESTime systems, resolve queries, and ensure accurate labour data uploads.
- Oversee absenteeism control, shift planning, and temporary staff deployment.
- Support health, safety, and legal compliance (Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Labour Relations Act (LRA) and Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COID)).
- Drive labour efficiency through data-driven decisions and proactive communication with HR and operations teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of workforce planning experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or equivalent in Human Resources, Finance or Industrial Engineering or Engineering/Production Management.
