About the Role

The Hiring House is seeking an experienced Legal Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for identifying business objectives, reviewing and negotiating major account agreements, and managing the contract lifecycle from drafting through completion. You will also maintain a deep understanding of our company’s contracts policy, legal risk, and liability, and ensure compliance with applicable laws or regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business objectives of direct sales, licensing, consulting transactions, related issues, and facilitate risk/benefit analysis.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate major account agreements, consulting agreements, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, terms, and amendments for customers.
  • Drive contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process, and/or contract execution.
  • Manage contract change control process and related correspondence requiring legal input.
  • Draft, manage, distribute, respond to, or analyze Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ) or customer terms & conditions as needed.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s contract templates, contracts policy, legal risk and liability, and company position on various matters.
  • Prepare contracts for internal review and approval and ensure compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws or regulations.
  • Interpret contracts and advise sales / consulting managers on contractual responsibilities.
  • Translate complex commercial/legal scenarios into simple language and action plans.

Requirements

  • Must be an admitted Attorney
  • At least a Minimum 4 – 6 years working experience in the related field
  • Strong Proficiency in relevant computer packages (MS Office) and software packages
