As the National Billing Manager, you will oversee the full billing lifecycle for all MRMSA entities — from customer onboarding and billing setup to invoicing, adjustments, revenue recognition, and month-end reporting. You will work closely with sales, operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure the highest levels of billing accuracy and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the national billing function, ensuring timeous, accurate, and complete invoicing across all entities.
- Oversee the full billing cycle including onboarding, billing configuration, invoicing, adjustments, and credit notes.
- Maintain accurate billing data, master data integrity, and compliance with policies, contracts, and accounting standards.
- Monitor unbilled revenue, backlogs, and billing discrepancies, driving corrective actions and improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support revenue recognition, reporting, and query resolution.
- Uphold strong internal controls, support audits, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the national billing team to ensure high performance and service excellence.
Job Experience & Skills Required
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Billing Management role.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a national or multi-branch billing environment.
- Proven track record managing a billing function and leading a team.
- Strong experience with revenue recognition, credit/debit processing, billing systems, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 highly advantageous).
Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Knowledge of VAT and related billing implications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Process-improvement mindset and data-driven approach.
Other Non-Negotiables:
- Ability to work extended hours when required (billing cycles).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
