About the Role
Kago Operations is seeking a skilled Network System Administrator/Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the core IT infrastructure that supports the telecommunication application layer, ensuring a stable and secure platform for the Telecommunications Specialist to integrate the application layer.
Key Responsibilities
- Build server and network foundation upon which the dispatch system runs
- Implement server virtualization (VMware preferred)
- Configure enterprise switching and routing (Cisco, HPE, or similar)
- Install basic platform services
- Ensure a stable and secure platform for the Telecommunications Specialist to integrate the application layer
Requirements
- A National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
- Highly advantageous certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, VMware VCTA/VCP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role
Qualifications
- Completed National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
