Job Summary
Duties:
- Oversee daily workshop operations
- Manage and Mentor staff
- Ensures appropriate allocation of work to technicians and efficient workflow
- Ensures work completed meets service delivery and high standard of quality control requirements
- Ensures that safety regulations are followed
- Effectively arranges for the allocation and distribution of outwork to service providers
- Accurately orders supplies for the workshop
- Ensure customers’ needs are understood and resolved
- Leadership of the team
- Diagnoses and repairs vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations
- Train members of the service department thoroughly in various vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities if required
- Knows, understands, and performs all duties of all Technician roles
- Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools
- Perform any other duties either necessary for customer service or perceived by or assigned to the job
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Senior Technician / Foreman
- Proven experience in same or similar role within a dealership setting, as senior technician / working foreman
- Knowledge of various brands
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Strong commitment to Customer Satisfaction
- Professional Attitude
- Qualified Red Seal Senior Mechanic
- Drivers license
