Job Description
Hire Resolves client is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Professional Structural Engineer to join their team in Tshwane, Gauteng. As a Professional Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, evaluating and analysing various structural components and systems to ensure their safety and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Performing structural analysis and design calculations for various types of structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
- Developing detailed plans and specifications for construction projects
- Conducting site inspections and evaluations to assess the condition of existing structures and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs meet project requirements and codes
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members
- Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant construction codes and regulations
