About the Role
The Junior Service Technician role at Staff Solutions involves providing prompt service calls, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and maintaining equipment functionality. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying sound principles to support company projects and ensuring effective operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to service calls in accordance with the standby service contract.
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment functionality, reliability, and safety.
- Carry out workshop duties when not attending to on-site breakdowns, including but not limited to equipment assembly, disassembly, and repairs.
- Apply sound electrical and mechanical principles to support the effective operation of company projects.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records and provide regular updates on job status.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress, requirements, and any issues encountered.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations, policies, and operational procedures.
- Be flexible and available to work overtime at short notice when operational needs require.
