Job Description
- Lead complex, high-value electronics development and production programmes for defense and national security missions.
- Oversee a portfolio of related projects—ranging from electronic warfare and maritime radar to embedded sensor systems to meet rigorous customer requirements
- Own the full lifecycle execution of programmes, meeting strict cost, schedule and performance targets
- Act as the primary interface for customers and internal executive leadership.
- Manage multi-million dollar budgets, performing financial analysis, resource allocation, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Proactively identify technical and schedule risks; develop mitigation strategies and exploit opportunities for growth
- Direct cross-functional teams of engineers (mechanical / electronics), supply chain, and manufacturing personnel.
Requirements
- B.Ing / BSc Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
- Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (equivalent)
- Previous experience from the defense industry a prerequisite
