Gauteng: Qualified Passenger Vehicle Auto Electrician – Westrand posted by Select Motor Recruitment

• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• Fault-finding on wiring harnesses, starters, alternators, lighting, sensors, and control units
• Repair and replace auto electrical components to manufacturer standards
• Use electrical diagnostic tools and testing equipment effectively
• Install and repair vehicle electrical systems and accessories
• Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and within required timeframes
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Auto Electrician (Trade Test / Relevant Qualification – non-negotiable)
• Minimum of 3-5years proven experience as an Auto Electrician (not a Diagnostic Technician)
• Must reside within the Westrand area
• Valid South African Driver’s Licence
• Own reliable transport
• Willing and available to work overtime at short notice
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
• Experience with modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• Dealership or reputable workshop experience
• Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
