Job Description
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering (or equivalent)
- Red Seal qualification in Engine Building and Diesel Mechanics (essential)
- Quality Management certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) advantageous
- OEM training or certification on Deutz or Cummins engines highly beneficial
- 5–8 years in Quality Assurance or a senior technical role within automotive, heavy engineering, or mining equipment industries
- Proven expertise in engine rebuilds, diagnostics, and maintenance (preferably Deutz and Cummins engines)
- Experience managing quality assurance across multiple branches or multi-site operations
- Strong background working with ISO systems and compliance standards
- Demonstrated success in leading and implementing quality assurance processes
- Advanced technical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty mining equipment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel between branches and mine sites as required
