Job Description
- Lead, train, guide, and develop the store team.
- Manage performance, schedules, attendance, and leave.
- Drive high standards of customer service and store presentation.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
- Complete accurate daily cash-ups and banking procedures.
- Maintain compliance with store policies and operational standards
- Receive stock on the system accurately and on time.
- Process IBTs, returns, and stock adjustments.
- Plan replenishment and manage ordering needs.
- Conduct regular stock counts and control shrinkage.
- Maintain tidy, organised stockrooms and produce excellent floor displays.
- Assist with seasonal buying and product selection.
- Use sales insights to recommend replenishment and range opportunities.
- Ensure merchandise is displayed professionally and in line with brand standards.
- Prepare monthly sales, stock, and performance reports.
- Track KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven retail experience
- Strong understanding of the South African retail market and its demands
- Tech-savvy, with confidence using POS systems, stock receiving, IBTs, adjustments, and reporting
- Ability to lead by example and build a positive, accountable team culture
- Excellent organisational skills with strong operational and detail-focused capabilities
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods
- Confidence in decision-making with strong follow-through and consistency
