Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a skilled and experienced SAQCC 1475 Technician to join their team. The SAQCC 1475 Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, testing, and inspections of fire detection and suppression systems in various facilities throughout the City of Tshwane.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire detection and suppression systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of fire protection equipment
- Keep accurate records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Coordinate with building owners and managers to schedule inspections and maintenance visits
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including SAQCC 1475 requirements
- Provide training and support to building staff on fire safety procedures and equipment operation
Requirements:
- SAQCC 1475 certification
- Previous experience working as a fire technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair fire protection equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
