Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate, detailed quotations for sea freight (FCL/LCL).
- Obtain and compare rates from international agents and service providers.
- Ensure all cost elements (freight, surcharges, local charges, ancillary services) are factored into estimates.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to develop tailored, cost-effective client solutions.
- Respond to customer requests for pricing with urgency, accuracy and value-adding insight.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas agents and service providers.
- Negotiate competitive rates to secure business when required.
- Manage high volumes of quotation requests with quick turnaround times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a pricing, estimating, or quotations role within an NVOCC, freight forwarder, or shipping company.
- Strong understanding of sea freight processes (FCL/LCL).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests efficiently.
