Job Summary
Essential Skills:
- Java 11+ with strong Object-Oriented Programming skills.
- Spring Boot for robust application development.
- Containerization expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in Git/GitHub version control.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS technologies, including:
- SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Lambda, Aurora RDS, EKS, DynamoDB, Cognito, API Gateway, and ElastiCache.
- Database skills with SQL (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
- CI/CD pipeline setup with tools like GitHub Actions and GitOps.
- Networking within AWS contexts, including subnets, firewalls, routing, DNS, and (reverse) proxies.
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience with MicroProfile or Quarkus.
- Configuration management using Helm and YAML.
- Designing and implementing RESTful endpoints.
- Front-end knowledge with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WSL/Unix environments.
- Testing methodologies like TDD (Test-Driven Development) or BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Build automation with Gradle.
- Monitoring and analytics tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Workflow management tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Your Mission:
- Own DevOps excellence with a focus on infrastructure, debugging, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and BA, and share knowledge effectively.
- Document operational processes and compile detailed manuals.
- Review and enhance team members’ code for quality and efficiency.
- Maintain software reliability and ensure seamless migrations.
- Adhere to governance, security policies, and internal standards.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and planning events.
- Be prepared for occasional standby support for international clients.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- At least 1 year of Java development experience (OCA certification preferred, OCP a bonus).
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience with AWS technologies.
