About the Role
Tumaini Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Software QA & Test Automation Engineer to join our team on a fully remote working model. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for web and API layers, as well as integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web and API layers
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and develop testing strategies
- Develop strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex testing issues
Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Strong experience with manual and automated testing, including Playwright
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web and API layers
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect management
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Proficiency with testing tools, bug tracking systems, and at least one scripting or programming language used in test automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred, not essential)
