Gauteng: Stores Assistant / Delivery Driver posted by West Coast Personnel

• Receive, check and record stock from suppliers.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer and internal orders.
• Process Delivery Notes (DNs), Goods Received Notes (GRNs), invoices and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, manage bin locationn and assist with cycle counts and annual stock takes.
• Support technicians, engineers and customers with spare part requests.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in stores and reception areas.

 
Delivery Duties:

• Safely operate company vehicles, completing daily inspection checks.
• Deliver and collect goods, equipment and documentation as required.
• Obtain signed Proof of Delivery (POD) and ensure goods are handled with care.
• Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy and service logs updated.
• Represent the company professionally and communicate effectively with staff and customers.

 
Health & Safety

• Follow company and road safety procedures at all times.
• Use correct manual handling techniques.
• Adhere to PPE and safety compliance standards.

 
Performance Expectations

• Be punctual and clock in by 07h30 daily.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks before departure.
• Submit Proof of Delivery immediately after each delivery.
• Report any delivery delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized store and vehicle.
• Ensure all deliveries and stock activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide professional service and support across both stores and delivery functions.
