About the Role
Our client, a renowned hotel and conference centre in Gauteng, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the full turnkey operations of their housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service in a 4 or 5-star hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full turnkey operation of the hotel’s housekeeping department
- Ensure that courteous and efficient service is provided to guests in line with the company’s mission statement
- Train assigned housekeeping personnel and implement, monitor, and improve Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor housekeeping performance and take corrective action when necessary
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) and NQF 6 Diploma in Hotel management or equivalent
- At least 5 – 8 years experience within the same position in 4 or 5-star hotels
- Computer literate in Fidelio / OPERA and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Be a South African Citizen
- Own transport and driver’s license

- National Senior Certificate (Matric) and NQF 6 Diploma in Hotel management or equivalent
