About the Role
As an Electrical Construction Manager, you will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives and performance standards. You will review and analyze project requirements to schedule deliverables and accurately estimate costs, while ensuring all on-site and off-site electrical construction complies with standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select and manage tools, materials, and equipment
- Monitor daily work progress
- Prepare and provide internal and external progress reports
- Proactively identify, prevent, and resolve problems on site
- Negotiate terms and agreements with subcontractors
- Obtain necessary permits, wayleaves, and approvals
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks
- Ensure adherence to quality construction standards
- Oversee financial transactions
Requirements
- Proven 15 years experience in construction management within the electrical contracting industry
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and standards specific to electrical contracting
- In-depth understanding of electrical products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards
- Comprehensive familiarity with all facets of construction: planning, design, execution, and project closure
