About the Role
The Crew Member position at IZI South Africa’s George branch involves collecting and delivering client consignments, loading trucks for clients, and verifying equipment while completing paperwork using electronic scanning devices. The successful candidate will ensure consignments are accurately received, segregated, and securely stowed onboard in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify all necessary equipment
- Complete paperwork using electronic scanning devices
- Ensure consignments are accurately received from the Vault
- Correctly segregate and secure consignments onboard
- Utilize security devices to guarantee safe transport of consignments
- Deliver consignments according to planned schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of crew compartment and Vault
- Scanning the environment for potential threats (suspicious vehicles and persons)
- Conduct ongoing surveillance en route to detect any potential threats
Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s experience in Cash In Transit operations
- PSIRA Grade C Certification
- Cash In Transit Certification
- SAPS Firearm Competency for Handgun Certificate
- Statement of Results report from Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) or Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) for Firearm with Business purposes
