About the Role
Fancourt, South Africa’s premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is situated in George in the heart of the Garden Route. We are seeking an experienced Golf Cart Mechanic to join our golf cart fleet maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our golf cart fleet and GPS units to ensure they are in satisfactory condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide input into the workshop budget and take full responsibility of the equipment and ordering of stock
- Repair and maintain golf cart equipment and machinery
- Ensure operations are carried out to the highest possible environmental and efficiency standards
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by the Golf Cart Technician and Golf Cart Attendants
- Assist the golf cart fleet maintenance team as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Carry out preventative maintenance and ensure that all machinery and equipment is serviced regularly
- Adhere to health and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 3 years experience in a Golf Maintenance workshop and/or basic mechanical knowledge obtained in a workshop
- Experience in the repairing of golf carts (advantageous)
