About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain the overall health of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets within agreed SLA timeframes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Perform on-site and remote support to users
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Install, configure, and support operating systems (Windows / macOS)
- Install, update, and maintain standard business software and applications
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance
- Assist with basic network support (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, cabling)
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) relevant IT qualification or certification (A, N, IT Support, or similar)
- 13 years experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
