About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Representative to join our team at South Cape Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining an existing client portfolio, proactively sourcing new business, and driving revenue growth through cold calling and product promotion. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for sales, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an existing, area-specific client portfolio
- Proactively source new business through cold calling
- Drive, develop, market, and promote the full range of products
- Present quotations directly to clients and close deals
- Sell and upsell across the entire product offering
- Work consistently towards monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Build strong, lasting client relationships and ensure ongoing account maintenance
- Handle all daily and weekly sales administration, including call sheets, quotations, emails, and reports
- Travel to clients across the Garden Route region as required
- Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by senior management
Requirements
- Matric
- Computer literate
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the Garden Route
- At least 2 years’ experience in a sales environment (office automation experience beneficial)
Qualifications
- Completed Matric (if applicable)
