About the Role
As a Retail Sales Consultant in our luxury showroom environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to high-end clients, while driving sales growth and meeting targets. You will work closely with our team to provide expert advice on tiles, taps, sanitaryware, and accessories, and support new builds and renovation clients through quantity calculations from building plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with walk-in clients in a luxury showroom environment on tiles, taps, sanitaryware, and accessories
- Support new builds and renovation clients by calculating quantities from building plans
- Provide high-end customer service aligned with the Italtile brand
- Prepare quotations and follow up to close deals
- Conduct telephonic sales calls and follow-ups with professionals in the industry
- Assist with showroom maintenance: displays, pricing, POS materials
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
Requirements
- 5+ years’ sales experience (retail/home improvement preferred)
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Target-driven with ability to work both independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills – written & verbal
- Competent in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Solid arithmetic skills and attention to detail
- Creative flair and design sense
- Own transport and valid SA driver’s licence
- Minimum education: Matric
