Our client is looking for a skilled Petrol and Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established automotive service center in George. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality mechanical work in a dynamic workshop environment.

Minimum requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transport
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Mechanical trade test (Petrol or Diesel)
• Minimum 2-4 years’ post trade test experience as a Qualified Diesel and Petrol Mechanic

Required skills:

• Knowledge of fuel systems, injection systems, and turbochargers
• Transmission, clutch, and gearbox maintenance
• Brake and suspension system repair
• Electrical system troubleshooting and repair
• Use of diagnostic tools and equipment
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Attention to detail
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients
• Safety awareness and compliance with workshop standards

Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable + 50% contribution to Provident Fund
