About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern who has completed an LLB degree to support our Legal Department with legal research, drafting, and administrative functions. This internship provides practical exposure to corporate and commercial legal work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries
- Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence
- Support compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies
- Maintain legal files, records, and document management systems
- Assist with litigation support and liaison with external attorneys where required
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal Department
Requirements
- Completed LLB degree
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Good understanding of South African legal principles
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: LLB degree (if applicable)
