Job Summary
Were looking for a Production Foreman – (CNC & Heavy Manufacturing) with hands-on experience and a sharp eye for quality, who can lead from the front and keep the floor running like a well-oiled machine.
- Lead and supervise a team of 60 across day and night shifts (rotationally).
- Ensure targets are met, downtime is minimized, and machines are set up to perform.
- Inspect finished components and maintain top-tier quality standards.
- Coordinate workloads, manage priorities, and drive productivity.
- Reduce waste, control costs, and maintain strong shop floor discipline.
- Uphold SHEQ standards, enforce health and safety policies, and support IR processes.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready workspace.
- Assist with shift reports, documentation, and team motivation.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a Foreman/Supervisor role in a production/manufacturing setup.
- Trade-tested Artisan (Fitter & Turner or Boilermaker).
- Solid understanding of CNC machine setup, cutting, drilling, tapping, and welding.
- Can read and interpret technical drawings without skipping a beat.
- Experienced in Syspro and familiar with shop-floor reporting.
- Knowledge of OSH Act, SHE principles, and basic labour law.
- Strong communication, conflict handling, and team leadership skills.
- Willingness to work shifts mainly day shift, but available for night when needed.
