This couple will provide hands-on leadership across all lodge operations , ensuring 5* service standards in a 4* rated lodge while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role focuses on family-friendly hospitality and creating seamless, memorable stays for every guest. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee all lodge operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running and service excellence Guest Experience: Deliver personalised 5* experiences, handle special requests, and proactively resolve guest issues Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise lodge staff, maintaining motivation, high standards, and attention to detail Safari Oversight: Manage guiding operations, including walking and vehicle safaris, ensuring safety, education, and engagement Owner Liaison: Work closely with lodge owners to implement operational procedures, uphold standards, and maintain the lodge’s reputation Administration & Compliance: Maintain inventory, manage health & safety, and ensure smooth internal processes Requirements: Proven luxury lodge experience in 5* environments Fluent in Afrikaans and English (critical for team communication) Strong leadership, operational, and organisational skills Lodge Manager: meticulous, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Head Guide: physically fit to lead walking safaris and all relevant qualifications up to date.
