About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at Hospitality and Outdoor Ltd in Hammanskraal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all lodge facilities, infrastructure, and equipment remain in excellent working condition. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, urgent repairs, and maintaining safety standards across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing general building repairs and infrastructure maintenance
- Conducting electrical and plumbing maintenance and minor installations
- Troubleshooting technical faults and implementing practical solutions
- Carrying out preventative maintenance across all lodge facilities
- Maintaining gardens, outdoor areas, pathways, and equipment
- Assisting with groundskeeping , pool maintenance, and basic mechanical tasks
- Responding quickly to maintenance requests from management and staff
- Ensuring compliance with lodge safety procedures and operational standards
Requirements
- Prior maintenance experience (hospitality or lodge environment preferred)
- Strong technical skills in electrical work, plumbing, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently , follow schedules, and manage priorities
- Strong problem-solving ability and physical fitness
- High level of reliability, organisation, and safety awareness
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
