About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Tolcon Group in Hartbeespoort. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, managing finances, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily communication with Head of Departments & Superiors.
- Control Processes on COS to achieve monthly budgets.
- Ensure daily sales balance to income statements.
- Verify that Quality of Hygiene Standards, food quality according to Company standards in the business unit is checked daily.
- Monitor the appropriate needs and ensure that on the job training is done by the relevant people.
- Verify that all HR processes are managed.
- Verify accuracy of supplier Invoices & data from stock system.
- Handover, reports & control documents.
- Verify that the following Health, Safety and hygiene processes and procedures are managed accordingly.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Hotel Catering or Equivalent
- Good Finance Acumen with attention to detail on Food Cost
- 8 years experience in the catering / industrial field /resale
- 5 years Managerial experience
- Valid driver license
- Adaptability to different working areas and conditions
- Clean criminal record
- Language fluent in English
- Must be able to work flexible hours
Qualifications
- National Diploma in Hotel Catering or Equivalent
