About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Heidelberg and Wadeville. As a hands-on leader, you will drive continuous improvement, lead audits, strengthen inspection systems, and build a culture that prioritizes quality every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits and internal assessments to ensure compliance with ISO/QMS standards
- Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, and 8D methods
- Implement product and process inspection/testing and KPI improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain metrology and calibration control systems
- Foster strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to stand firm under pressure and make tough decisions
Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum 5 years experience as a quality team leader in a manufacturing environment with multiple product lines
- Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, QA applications, databases)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Familiarity with Power Transformer Standards
