Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management in their food production facility in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record of effectively managing a storeroom in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock
- Oversee receiving, storing, and issuing of all materials and supplies
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to fulfill orders and maintain proper stock levels
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the storeroom area
- Supervise and train storeroom staff to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the food production industry
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
