About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomist/Entomologist/Horticulturist to join our team in Hoedspruit, Limpopo/Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, research, and development, with a passion for working with plants and trees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct plant physiology research, microbiology, and scientific methodology studies
- Collaborate on research projects and develop new methodologies
- Work in orchards to apply knowledge of citrus and subtropical fruit trees
- Maintain own transport and valid driver’s license
Requirements
- BSc in Horticulture/Plant Sciences/Entomology or Agricultural related field
- 5 years experience in agriculture, preferably with research and development
- Familiarity with plant physiology research, microbiology, and scientific methodology
- Hands-on experience working in orchards
- Sound knowledge of citrus and subtropical fruit trees (knowledge of sugarcane) is an advantage
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: BSc in Horticulture/Plant Sciences/Entomology or Agricultural related field
