We are recruiting on behalf of our NGO client for the position of Senior Administrative Officer. This key role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting a committed team working to uplift local communities.

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Word & Excel
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge with Pastel experience
• Proven experience in administration
• Systematic and organized approach to tasks
• Valid drivers license and own transport (advantageous)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing emails, sales, typing documents/reports, and maintaining electronic filing systems
• Creditors control using Pastel
• Oversee fleet management and vehicle insurance
• Administer Section 18A certificates for donors
• Coordinate resource distribution for training teams, including travel and accommodation arrangements
• Manage stock and supplies

• Teachable, able to learn and share knowledge with others
• Demonstrates good stewardship of resources, including time, finances, and materials
• Proficiency in isiZulu is advantageous
