One of our Clients are looking for a Junior BookkeeperLocation: Irene, Pretoria-EastType: Full-Time | On-SiteSalary: Negotiable based on experienceAre you an organized, detail-driven individual with a passion for numbers?Our client is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance team and work closely with the Senior Bookkeeper and Financial Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.- Reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, creditors, and debtors.- Perform monthly stock-takes and reconcile inventory to the general ledger.- Assist with payroll preparation and statutory submissions (PAYE, UIF, VAT).- Prepare and assist with monthly management reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow reports.- Support the preparation of audit working papers and VAT returns.Qualifications & Experience:- Matric with Accounting (Higher Grade).- Diploma (minimum 24-month course) or Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance.- 2+ years accounting experience in a stock-bearing environment.- Proficient in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.- Fluent in Afrikaans or English (proficiency in both advantageous).Ideal Candidate: You are reliable, punctual, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
