Employer Description This is a manufacturer and supplier of automotive industrial chemicals Job Description Your responsibilities will be the following below: Focus initial time and effort understanding the company profitability model and product costings Implement the Sales and Marketing Directors annual marketing strategy and plan Develop an annual sales and promotion programme specifically aimed at the coolants, brake fluids resellers Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients to ensure optimisation of companys profitability Establish and achieve profitable sales and increase the market share through focussed sales efforts Grow and develop new sales for the company by frequent visits to potential new clients with a structured call factor programme, Collect outstanding credit and cash sales and manage debt, although this is a Client Services function this would be part of the role should assistance with late payments be required Analyse sales figures and prepare weekly and monthly sales graphs and reports for the Sales and Marketing Director Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques Recommend changes in products, pricing and services by evaluating results and competitive developments Work closely with the warehouse in Johannesburg with a view to increasing Customer Own Collection (COC) sales Qualifications Matric Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field Skills Minimum 5 years experience in a sales environment Knowledge of the lubricant/oil industry or related field associated with the industry Proficient in MS Office Code 8 Drivers license and Own Reliable Vehicle Benefits Commission Performance bonuses Fuel and travel costs covered Cell allowance
