Job Description
The Role
As Account Manager, you will be the trusted advisor for a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring they receive maximum value from their IT solutions while identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen each relationship.
You’ll act as the primary point of contact, coordinating with internal teams to deliver seamless service, anticipate client needs, and unlock mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage relationships with assigned customer accounts
- Build strong, trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and C-level decision-makers
- Ensure service delivery meets (and exceeds) client expectations
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities aligned to genuine client needs
- Collaborate closely with Support, Projects, and Sales teams
- Provide insights into client challenges, risks, and future opportunities
- Conduct regular account reviews and client meetings
- Maintain accurate reporting and recommendations for improvements
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in Account Management / Sales, ideally within IT Managed Services
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity concepts
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) advantageous
- Confident communicator with strong client engagement skills
- Highly organised, self-managed, and able to juggle multiple accounts
- Professional, well-presented, and client-facing
- own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
