About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk (Inter-company) to join our finance team in Bryanston, Johannesburg. This role is responsible for managing inter-company transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and supporting regional operations across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile inter-company balances
- Investigating and resolving variances timeously
- Process outstanding and missing inter-company invoices in line with agreed procedures
- Provide ongoing support to regional operations teams regarding inter-company-related queries
- Execute daily inter-company financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Compile and submit weekly reports on inter-company account statuses and identified discrepancies to regional finance leadership
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders across different regions
- Prepare inter-company settlement schedules for review and action by the Accounts Payable Manager and Regional Head of Finance
- Partner closely with operational teams to ensure accountability and smooth inter-company processes
- Manage working hours flexibly to support continuity across multiple global time zones
Requirements
Completed Matric and Certificate or Diploma in Accounting/Finance. Minimum of 5 years experience in inter-company reconciliations. At least 5 years experience in invoice processing and financial data capturing. Exposure to multi-country and multi-currency environments.
