The purpose of this position is to drive the achievement of new business objectives, manage and expand the existing client base, target and convert key competitor accounts, set and meet sales targets, and drive revenue growth through personal performance. The role also involves ensuring the implementation of best management practices in all aspects of new equipment sales procedures, promoting a customer-focused service, and aligning actions with the company’s strategic vision. Duties and responsibilities: Meeting sales growth and market share objectives by analyzing, preparing, and executing strategies to target and convert competitor accounts. Ensuring high-quality customer interactions and service by managing territory coverage, fostering client partnerships, creating tailored solutions, and addressing personal development needs. Effectively managing financial aspects of deals to align with company budgets and strategies, ensuring rental business quality, meeting order, invoicing, and gross profit targets, controlling stock turn, and ensuring proper execution of administrative tasks such as contract delivery and collection, discount approvals, and site inspections. Planning, preparing, and achieving New Equipment Sales targets for the assigned territory. Preparing and presenting reports as needed. Ensuring strict adherence to administrative procedures. Promoting customer service excellence and maintaining strong relationships and communication with customers. Must have knowledge and qualifications: Grade 12 qualification Driver`s license (Code 08 or 10) 3–5 years of proven, successful sales experience in the truck-mounted equipment and commercial vehicle industry 3–5 years of knowledge and experience with truck-mounted cranes for various applications Experience in performing TrailerWin stability calculations for specific applications, including trailer designs, load distribution, and crane stability In-depth understanding of the truck market and business Proven track record in commercial truck sales Knowledge and understanding of the National Road Traffic Act No. 93 of 1996
