Job Summary
Requirements:
Financial and budgeting skills Industry, organisational and business awareness, and skills Quality assurance and skills Technical Competence in Asset Management, Hardware, and Software Continued learning and/or professional development of knowledge and skills IT enablement legislation and governance, risk & compliance, and skills Contract and associated service management knowledge and skills Asset and inventory management and skills IT enablement financial management and skills IT Enablement Reporting and skills Capacity and performance management and skills Scope To maintain the Group Security assets, register throughout the security asset asset lifecycle. To ensure that the stock management and safeguarding by the security assets principles and compliance To ensure that the maintenance and contract agreements are in place when evaluating the conditions of security assets and providing recommendations to ensure that security assets are maintained within the defined lifecycle of the asset To facilitate the procurement of group security assets when the end of life has been reached, including compiling and verification of technical specifications, evaluations of suppliers` quotations procuring, delivery, recording, payment, and capitalisation of the security asset To stay current with market-related developments and anticipated trends in own technical and functional area, and ensure the application thereof in a relevant and timely manner (methods and systems) To remove the security assets from the physical environment when they have aged, approval is obtained for write-off, update the security register and disposal according to the recommended method Quarterly reporting to be provided to all relevant stakeholders the Team Leader and the Unit Head Periodic assets audits to be conducted to ensure accuracy and verification of the status of security assets Monitoring and assessing the utilisation of GSMD security assets aligned to the correct compliance processes. Coordinate and support subsidiary asset management teams with asset management activities aligned to the GSMD Group security approach.
