The opportunity requires a minimum of 6+ years advanced experience in as a AWS Cloud Developer:
- Java (Kafka consumer)
- Python
- Basic SQL
- AWS. We use mainly the following services: Glue, RDS (Aurora Postgresql)
- Lambda, CDK
- Fargate, cloudWatch
- Scrum (review, planning, refinement) 2-weekly Sprints
- Confluence
- JIRA
- Bitbucket
- Integration between different technologies
- Web and digital project experience advantageous
- Extensive experience in implementing and monitoring solutions
- Agile working experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with
- the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
Reference Number for this position is GZ57053 which is a long-term contract position working remotely offering a contract rate of R540 up to R600 per hour negotiable on experience and ability.
